Equine Veterinary & Reproduction was established by Jennifer Harbison in 2018 with the aim of providing an outstanding level of service in equine veterinary care. The goal was offer a comprehensive equine veterinary and reproductive service, covering all aspects of lameness, medicine and breeding.
We continue to be a small, but dedicated team of vets keen to assist our clients achieve their goals, whether it be breed the next Grand Prix champion, or enjoy their local fun-ride.
Jennifer Harbison MA, VetMB, MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon & Director
Jennifer qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2003.
On graduation Jennifer worked for a mixed practice in Buckingham, undertaking a wide variety of equine work and establishing a flourishing equine reproductive service.
After this she spent a period working for an equine practice with a focus on sports horse medicine and poor performance examinations before joining The Vet Centre in Maids Moreton in 2005. Here she developed and expanded the equine division which, in 2018, evolved into a separate practice, Equine Veterinary & Reproduction.
In recent years Jennifer has attended a large number of bloodstock sales in the UK, France and USA both for clients and assisting bloodstock agents, frequently being involved in the sale and purchase of horses with multimillion pound price tags.
In her spare time Jennifer enjoys training and riding point-to-pointers.
Dr Oliver Siddons BVetMed, MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Oliver grew up in rural Leicestershire assisting on various yards and competing in dressage before studying at the Royal Veterinary College, London. He competed for the university team in dressage and showjumping and developed a keen interest in sports horse medicine.
After graduating, Oliver worked for a busy sports and race horse practice in Lambourn, Berkshire where he was also an assistant vet at numerous FEI and BE events as well as attending thoroughbred sales in Newmarket.
Oliver’s main interests are in poor performance investigations, sports horse medicine and diagnostic imaging. However, he loves to help horses and owners of all disciplines and levels to achieve their goals.
In his spare time, in addition to riding, Oliver loves long distance running, photography, flying and travel.
Kerry Smith
Veterinary Assistant
Kerry studied at the Cambridgeshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture where she qualified with a National Certificate in the Management of Horses and BHS Stage 1-3 exams.
After leaving college, Kerry spent many years working as a professional show horse groom, travelling the country competing at County shows culminating in a qualification for the Royal International and The Horse of the Year Show. She also has extensive experience working with hunters, eventers, and Pony Club ponies.
Kerry still has a special interest in showing and enjoying visiting county shows in her free time along with her Labrador, Archie.
You'll find Kerry out and about assisting the vet team, and also managing the practice back in the office.
